Special Council Meeting
June 10th, 2017
1. OPENING MEETING
Chairperson Ivan Blanchard called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
Present:
Ivan Blanchard- Chairperson
Pat MacLellan – Vice-Chairperson
Joan Arsenault – Councillor
John Gillis – Councillor
Robin Gillis – Councillor
Ricky Myers – Councillor
Michelle Perry- Administrator
2. Change of plans to the Skate Park: The committee of Parent and kids have decided that instead of paving the full pad at the Skate Park that they will just do half of it and put a layer of Portland cement over top of it to protect the paving from breaking down from the sun. they have also decided to purchase 2 pieces of equipment. They have changed their budget from $28,905.25 to $26,074.22. This has went to ACOA to approve the changes and to have the finish date extended out to August 31st, 2017.
MOTION moved by Pat MacLellan, seconded by Ricky Myers and carried,
THAT the changes for the Skate Park be approved and the project move forward.
