Capacity Study East Lagoon

1. OPENING MEETING
Mayor Albert Gallant called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M.

Mayor Gallant thanked everyone for coming to the meeting and turned the meeting over to WSP. WSP explained the Capacity Study for the East Lagoon and they explained how they came to the recommendation of a Aeration System for the East Lagoon, as the community did not have any more land for another cell, and also by having another cell it makes it harder for development as they have to be a certain distance from the Lagoon. With the Aeration System this will increase the capacity to 1435 people over the next 25 years. The community will still need to have the peak flow information as well as the daily overall flows from the Lagoon, which means that they will need to have a flow meter installed to be able to determine this. This will help do the design plan. The project estimated cost is $4.1 Million, and this will include the upgrade to the Lift Station as well as the UV Station.
