RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF MISCOUCHE
Special Council Budget Meeting
February 20th, 2018

1. OPENING MEETING
Chairperson Ivan Blanchard called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Present:
Ivan Blanchard – Chairperson
John Gillis – Councillor
Robin Gillis- Councillor
Pat MacLellan – Councillor (Absent)
Joan Arsenault – Councillor (Absent)
Ricky Myers- Councillor
Michelle Perry- Administrator

2. Michelle received a request to use the Rec Center for a Seniors Beginners Drawing program for 5 weeks starting in April with the instructor being Maurice Bernard. Maurice will charge a fee for the course if they get more than 10 people signed up he will drop the HST

MOTION moved by Ricky Myers seconded by John Gillis and carried,
THAT the Senior Beginners Drawing course be put on at the Rec center for 5 Weeks with no charge for using it.

Council went through the numbers for the Fire Department budget and they have decided to figure out the full cost to run the Fire Department. With the percentage of the Municipal Building and the expenses of the Fire department and since Council now has the numbers they have decided that they need to sit down with the executives of the Fire Department and go over the budget with them.
The meeting has been set up for February 21st, 2018 at 7:00 pm
